General

1. What does Rondayvoo do ?
   Quite simply, Rondayvoo helps friends, family and colleagues meet up with each other.
2. How much will it cost me to use Rondayvoo ?
   Rondayvoo is currently free to use. You will have to pay for any SMS messages you send to Rondayvoo, but these are charged at your operator's regular rate.
3. Why is Rondayvoo currently "Alpha" ?
   Rondayvoo is still at the experimental stage, pre-Beta if you like. There's still a lot of development to do but we want to test the concept with real users like you.

Privacy

1. How does Rondayvoo know where my friends are ?
   Whenever a Rondayvoo user updates their location, Rondayvoo compares their location with the locations of all their friends and notifies each person who is near each other.
2. Is Rondayvoo spying on me ?
   No, absolutely not! Rondayvoo only knows where you are when you decide to update your location.
3. What if I don't want people to know where I am?
   If you want to go "offline" for a while, simply tell Rondayvoo your location is offline and Rondayvoo will forget where you are immediately. You can do this by SMS or online using the "... is at" box.
   
4. What happens if I don't update my location?
   Once you tell Rondayvoo where you are, Rondayvoo will assume you are at that location for up to 12 hours or until you tell Rondayvoo your new location.

Technical

1. Do I need a GPS enabled phone to use Rondayvoo?
   No, all you need is a mobile phone that can send SMS. That means almost any GSM mobile phone will work fine. If you don't have a suitable mobile phone you can always tell Rondayvoo where you are from your computer, although it won't be as convenient if you are out and about. In the future, Rondayvoo may also provide additional services based on GPS enabled mobile phones.
   
2. What is the phone number to send SMS messages to Rondayvoo?
   You can update your location on Rondayvoo by sending an SMS message to 07786200350 or+447786200350 if you are outside the UK. Your message must start with the keywordrdv followed by your location.
